In this project, I successfully organized, moderated, and recorded a usability test. I conducted comparative tests with users and conducted interviews as part of the sessions. This experience significantly enhanced my ability to comprehend customer goals and behaviors, while also boosting my confidence and expertise in conducting usability testing.
The customer journey map was a valuable piece of work that taught me how to structure the analysis of research data. It helped define the key steps in the customer's journey, allowing me to document user goals, positive interactions, pain points, and identify any unaddressed user behaviours on the website or app.
For my flow diagram project, I focused on designing a high-level booking flow for a mobile airline app. This experience improved my understanding of sequencing movements and actions within complex systems.
Through this experience, I gained a deeper understanding of how to organize and sequence the movements or actions of individuals or elements within a complex system or activity.
Once I had compiled all my research and completed the necessary preparations, I commenced working on my initial mobile prototype design. I transformed my ideas from paper sketches into tangible digital forms. For this project, I chose to name my airline "Air Nice." Exploring Adobe XD for the first time was a delightful experience, allowing me to bring my design concepts to life.
My interaction design drew inspiration from my prior flow diagram. I successfully tackled all the issues and user goals identified during my research and analysis phase. Furthermore, I enhanced my problem-solving abilities by developing my sketching skills. I incorporated screen states to account for significant variations based on user actions and ensured that my work was ready for prototyping.
